National Hospital alerts the public on unknown patient, seeks identification

The National Hospital, Abuja, has drawn the attention of the public to the presence of a patient in need of urgent identification.

A statement by Tayo Haastrup Ph.D, Assistant Director/HOD. Information & Protocol Management Department, reads: “A man about 35 years old, Shafiu Sulaiman, whose picture is attached, was brought to the National Trauma centre in National Hospital, Abuja, on Thursday 14th may 2015 by a Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officer from Mabushi/Nicon Road.

“The patient has been treated in the hospital and is now stable and conscious, receiving treatment in the Orthopaedic Ward of National Trauma Centre. However the patient is not yet coordinated.

“The management is appealing to any member of the public whose relation has not been seen since the aforementioned date to please come to National Trauma Centre for further necessary action.”
