Abia Governor-elect washes hands off ceremonial uniform

Abia State Governor-Elect, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, yesterday evening washed his hands off any uniform in connection with his inauguration.

A Special Announcement by his campaign chief, John Nwagbarogu informed Abians, Ikpeazu’s supporters and members of the public “that he has not authorised any person or group of persons, to make and sell uniforms to anybody ahead of his swearing-in ceremony as governor of Abia state which holds on May 29th, 2015.”

“He stressed that he has not and will not authorise any such arrangement. The general public is advised to beware of such deceitful claims,” the statement added.
