The Akwa Ibom State Judiciary has concluded arrangements to send-off the retiring Chief Judge of the state, Justice Idongesit Ntem B. Isua.
A release signed by the Chief Registrar of the state judiciary, Chief Magistrate Aniekan Akpan, indicated that “Justice Idongesit Ntem Isua will be retiring from service on May 1, 2015, which is coincidentally, the Workers Day”.
”Considering the date, the state judiciary, has resolved to organise a valedictory court session in honour of the retiring chief judge on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Judiciary Multi-Purpose Hall, Uyo, by 12 p.m.,” the chief registrar stated.
The release indicated that the valedictory court session would be preceded by a thanksgiving service at her church, Christ the King Cathedral, Wellington Bassey Way, Uyo, by 10 a.m.
Already, on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, the retiring chief judge was visiting some judiciary project sites, which had been completed, to inspect and commission them, while on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, the “Judiciary Prays general assembly”, would hold its convocation in honour of the retiring chief judge, at the Judiciary Multi-purpose Hall.
News Express reports that a book presentation, has also been scheduled to take place same Wednesday, to mark the event.
