It is no longer news that the Nigerian Police has so far arrested over 800 suspects over allegations of looting warehouses where palliatives meant for distribution across the states to cushion the effects of Covid-19 were hidden.
It was in this country where militants in the Niger Delta who vandalised pipelines and sabotaged national economy were arrested and granted amnesty cleaned up, and flown abroad for various training and studies.
Similarly Boko Harm terroristswho killed more than 200,000 people across the country were arrested taken to Gombe cleaned up granted amnesty, trained and dressed in a Green white green dresses and reintegrated info our society.
Now someone who Looted food items from a store where those items are legitimately meant for him but executive looters who kept them away are being arrested for forcefully taking what belongs to them. If there is anyone who deserve amnesty and even our sympathy are these looters of palliatives.
So let government grant them amnesty.
