The youth of Nigeria had been on peaceful protests across the country since October 12 tagged #EndSARS.
The protests which have spread outside the country are against the extrajudicial killings by the now disbanded Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) as well as bad governance.
All through the period of the protests, four songs have stood out as the most favourite songs of the protesters.
The songs are: ‘Fem’ by Davido released in September (last month).
Burna Boy’s ‘Monster You Made’ released earlier in the year has been another favourite song used by the protesters.
Other songs are ‘The Barawo’ by Ajebo Hustlers also released earlier this year, ‘Jaga Jaga’ by Eedris Abdulkareem released in 1999 and Timi Dakolo’s ‘Great Nation’ released in 2011.
