Nollywood icon Richard Mofe-Damijo RMD
Veteran actor, producer, writer and lawyer, Richard Eyimofe Evans Mofe-Damijo, popularly known as RMD, has thrown his weight behind the protesting Nigerian youths.
The 59 years old former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State is also very much in support of the calls made by a cross section of the society asking President Muhammadu Buhari to tender an unreserved apology to the youths for bad governance.
The bearded actor made his stand known when he reposted a video on his Instagram page during the week, showing a preacher demanding an open apology from Buhari.
The preacher in the video said: “What does it take for President Buhari to say to the youths, ‘my children I am sorry, please forgive us. We are ready to make amends’?’ The president should stop talking through people. Let him personally talk to the youths...”
Showing his full support of what the preacher said, RMD wrote: “Soro Soke!!! God hears you, hears us all.”
