Buhari’s aide endorses Burna Boy’s anti-govt new song

Music star Burna Boy

One of the aides to President Buhari has openly endorsed the latest song by Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu Rex, known professionally as Burna Boy.

In spite of the fact that the latest album of the 29 years old

Rivers State-born singer and songwriter titled “Wetin Dey Sup” released last week is full of “yabis” against the government, Person Assistant to the President on new media, Bashir Ahmad tweeted a few days back:

“He has done it again @burnaboy my guy.#AfricanGiant now #TwiceAsTall.”

A few hours later, the Grammy Awards nominee responded with a retweet:

“Please help us play that ‘Wetin Dey Sup’ track for Buhari tomorrow morning. Thank you @Bashir Ahmad.”

And that “tomorrow” happened to be yesterday (Monday). We are still waiting to hear from Ahmad if he delivered the message from the African Giant to the President.
