Late Prince Samson Taba Ariyo
The remains of Prince Samson Taba Ariyo, renowned educationist cum engineer and father of popular Warri Chief and legal practitioner, Chief Robinson Ariyo, will be interred at his family compound in Ekehuan, Ovia North East Local Government Area in Edo State, on Saturday, August 1, 2020.
According to a statement by Mr. Goodluck Ariyo for the Ariyo family, activities for the funeral ceremony commenced on Thursday, July 30, with service of songs at Prince Samson Ariyo’s residence at Atuwatse Close, Ubeji Warri, Delta State.
The statement added that the remains of late Prince Taba Ariyo will leave Ame Specialist Hospital Mortuary along Okumagba Avenue, Warri, by 6:00 a.m. on Saturday for onward movement to his family Compound in Ekehuan, Ovia North East, Edo State.
The corpse is expected to arrive the family compound by 10:00 a.m. before the commencement of church service at the Baptist Church in the area. Thereafter the remains will be interred at his family compound, with reception following at same venue.
There will be thanksgiving service on Sunday, August 2, at Triumphant Family Baptist Church Ubeji, Warri, by 9:00 a.m.
Late Pa. Samson Ariyo was aged 84 and is survived by a wife, Mrs. Margret Malomo Ariyo (Nee Afinotan), six children, eight grandchildren, brothers, sisters and numerous relations.
