Controversial Dr Stella Immanuel
When America-based Nigeria-trained medical doctor and religious leader, Dr Stella Immanuel, came up with a viral video on her claims to have cured COVID-19 patients with
Hydroxychloroquine, little did she know that she would cause a major rift between two good friends in faraway Nigeria.
Now two Nigerian entertainers are literally at loggerheads as a result of Dr Stella’s claims.
During the week, veteran actor Anayo Modestus Onyekwere professionally known as Kanayo O. Kanayo (KOK) posted Dr Stella’s viral video on his Instagram page.
KOK had made a footnote on the video which he admired so much.
He wrote: “When Nigerians go out, they are celebrated.”
As if he was barely waiting for “Professor Johnbull” to finish his write up, frontline stand-up comedian, Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome, professionally known as Ali Baba, countered on his own Instagram page:
“I choose to believe this man, (Fauci) says Hydroxychloroquine is not effective in treating COVID-19.”
But don’t get involved in this seeming social media war staged by the twosome, as pals they know how, where and when to settle their scores.
