Nollywood actress, Shan George
Nollywood actress, singer, film producer and director sure has some attributes which she admires so much in the governor of Cross River State, Professor Ben Ayade.
And the 50 years old Mass Communication graduate from the University of Lagos who was born to a Nigerian mum (from Cross River) and a British dad is not hiding her deep admiration for the governor.
Shan who relocated from Lagos to Calabar some years back was recently appointed by Governor Ayade as his aide on the local movie industry which they call Callywood.
The mother of two grown up boys, controversial for having issues with her love life after being involved in several broken marriages, has been holding meetings with the governor since her appointment.
After one of such meetings recently which was to discuss plans for the production of an upcoming movie titled "Mountain Holiday" she said,
"You cannot imagine the level of wisdom you get just sitting with His Excellency, Sir Ben Ayade to hear him speak. It is always a blessing to have this kind of opportunity. I've really learned a lot from you sir."
Overheard someone say, hope the "admiration", "wisdom" and "blessing" begin and end with Mountain Holiday and do not extend to a Holiday on the Mountain.
