Singer and songwriter, Azeez Adeshina Fashola aka Naira Marley

According to the Agege, Lagos State-born president of his controversial fan base, “Marlian”, unlike the common opinion people hold about him due to his weird nature, he does not do hard drugs.

So what makes him high then? Hear it from the horse's mouth:

“I don’t do drugs I just smoke weed.”

And what do his fans say about this?

Speaking in support of the artiste who graduated with a distinction in business from Peckham Academy and also studied business law at Crossways College, a fan, @DeLordEmperor, said:

“They are not even close to being the same. Cigarette is harmful. It’s a chemical product. Weed is natural and not harmful.”

But another fan @Thrillbeing help a different opinion entirely.

“He better know what he's promoting, weed is not to be used for recreation purposes, only for medicinal purposes and no doctor would recommended smoking it, smoking is not a medical practices because it does more harm than good,” tweeted the fan.

Meanwhile, a day before this revelation, Naira Marley had said people should not judge him by what he posts on the social media.

He said he posts all the “shit” to make people laugh, it is not his real self.

“If u have a crush on me, ignore all the hoe shit I post, it’s all for laughs. I’m not a hoe in real life.”

Do you believe him?
