Frontline comedian, actor, radio/TV presenter, Ayodeji Richard Makun also known by his stage name AY,has set out in search of new comedians.

The 48 years old Warri, Delta State-born graduate from the Delta State University Abraka is doing the search via his special programme tagged “Open Mic Comedy Club”.

According to the laugh merchant, the project aims at picking five outstanding comics with one overall winner at the end of the day.

To achieve this, he has constituted a panel of three judges viz:fast rising comedienne Helen Paul, 2006 Open Mic winner Elenu and Efe Omoriegbe of Now Music Concept.

What the judges will be looking out for are Originality, Creativity, Sense of Timing and Comical Dexterity.

In the voice of AY, “Let’s do it again by introducing some new talents into the industry. Watch out for AY’s Open Mic Comedy Reality Show.”
