A-list actress and producer, Olufunke Ayotunde Akindele-Bello, popularly known as Funke Akindele, is in mourning mood.

The 42 years old Ikorodu, Lagos State-born mother of twin boys has been in the mood since Sunday morning when the news of the death of her bosom friend, Ibidun Ighodalo, wife of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, Head Pastor Trinity House Church, broke out.

Not many knew before now how close Jenifa (so called after the lead character she playsin her show Jenifa’s Diary) was to the late former Miss Lux who reportedly died in Port Harcourt from heart attack.

The actress, who together with her husband were recently sentenced to 14-day community service after confessing guilty to violating COVID-19 lockdown order, revealed certain intimate secrets between her and the late ex-beauty queen.

She revealed that the late model, who would have turned 40 on July 19, was the one who taught her how to be classy and decent in her outlook.

She also revealed to her 11.1 million followers on Instagram that it was also Mrs Ighodalo who helped position her television sitcom and supported her when she (Funke) was just coming up.

“I am so confused, I don’t know what to write. Ibidun you were a good friend. You supported my brand when I was very low. You helped position the Jenifa brand, you taught me how to be classy and decent. You and @bonixdrinks were always there for me. Ha! Why? We can’t question you oh Lord. Rest in peace my beautiful sister. May God comfort uncle’s heart. Ikudoro! Sun re o Ibidun! Oluwa mi a fi orun ke e! Odun a jina si ra o!” Funke narrated.
