Technocrat and politician Valentine Ozigbo on Thursday disclosed that the desire for positive change is behind his ambition to become the next governor of Anambra State.

“I don’t see sufficient hunger for change. That’s what is driving me,” Ozigbo, immediate past President and CEO of Transcorp Plc, said this morning during a media chat held via Zoom.

Ozigbo, who is aspiring to realise his ambition on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), expressed worry over the plight of Anambra State as well as Nigeria, Africa and the entire black race.

“For us to change the story of the black man, it has to start from Nigeria, and politics is key,” he said, adding: “For me, I think Anambra is very crucial, hence my decision to seek the governorship of the state.”
