MASSOB Leader Uwazuruike
The Biafra Nations Youth League (BNYL) has disassociated its members from the recent inauguration of Biafra Parliament by the Movement for the Actualization of The Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) in Cross River State and Akwa Ibom while also warning the MASSOB leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, to desist from creating confusion in Biafra struggle.
Addressing newsmen in Ikom, Cross River State, the Deputy National Leader of BNYL and Director of Operations, Biafra Broadcasting Service (BBS), Ebuta Takon Akor, urged Uwazuruike to continue with his title of ‘Eze Ndigbo’ and stop imposing leadership on Cross Riverians and the people of the South-south, stressing that anybody who is ‘Eze Ndigbo’ or ‘Obong Efik’ or ‘Amanyanabo Ijaw’ is disqualified from Biafra leadership adding that the BNYL will not allow any group of persons to manipulate the Biafran struggle for selfish motives.
“It is unheard of, you can’t have a Parliament in an existing Parliament. All we should do is to come together as groups and plan on how to take over our states’ Parliaments politically by sacking those who don’t support us and get our people in Parliament to pass bill on Biafra, if they don’t we revolt against them in all ramifications.”
While warning that BNYL will not allow any Biafra agitator to bring in the mentality of some Igbo agitators to other areas, Ebuta dismissed the MASSOB Parliament adding that it remains invalid until Biafra is fully restored as a sovereign entity.
