The boy, Gabriel Tehrile

A 12-year-old boy suspected to have been trafficked from Zakibiam in Benue State has been found in Anambra State.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Haruna Mohammed, in a statement said the boy was brought to the state by his traffickers last week.
He said that the boy ran away from the supposed guardian and all efforts to contact his relations proved difficult.
The statement partly reads: “On the 22/5/2020, one Gabriel Tehrile ‘m’ aged about 12 years from Egbeji Zakibiam in Benue State was brought to Nnobi Police Station, Idemili South LGA by a good Samaritan.
“Preliminary investigation revealed that the child was brought from Benue State to Anambra by his traffickers last week but the boy ran away from the supposed guardian and all efforts to contact his relations proved difficult.”
The Command called on anyone with useful information about the found child to report at Nnobi Divisional Police Station or contact PPRO Anambra State Police Command through GSM no 08060970639.
