The family of Papa Joseph Adeleye Obutu of Iju Itaogbolu in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State has announced the passing away of their father, Papa Adeleye Obutu.

A statement signed by Soji Adeleye for the family described Papa Adeleye Obutu as “loving and inspirational,” disclosing that he “passed to the great beyond on February 9, 2015 at a ripe age of 88.”

Pa Obutu is survived by two wives, many children and grandchildren, among them Soji Adeleye, Sanya Adeleye, Segun Adeleye (publisher of factual online newspaper, World Stage), Banjo Adeleye, Kayode Adeleye, Bamiji Adeleye, Bamidele Adeleye, Funke Adeleye Osademie and Adedayo Adeleye, among others.

The statement said burial arrangements would be announced in due course.
