Indigenes of Akwa Ibom and Cross River States in Lagos, under the auspices of Akwa Cross, have applauded the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for what they call inclusive governance by the governor.

Speaking toNews Expressearlier today, the leader of the Akwa Cross Worldwide, HRM Etubom (Dr.) Samson U. Samson said his members appreciate Governor Sanwo-Olu for remembering them in the distribution of palliatives meant to cushion the effect of the ongoing lockdown in Lagos State.

“We sincerely appreciate the executive governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his magnanimity,” said Samson.

“The governor has proven that he is running an all inclusive government by giving us the palliative items made up of foodstuff and sanitisers which we received on Sunday, April 19, 2020”

“We have since given out the palliatives, not just to our members, but also to the poor and the vulnerable ones around us without discrimination,” said Samson who also used the opportunity to ask for more as the first batch could not go round.

He enjoined Lagosians to abide by the precautionary measures as directed by the government including stay at home, social distancing and personal hygiene in order to reduce the spread of coronavirus in Lagos State in particular and the country at large.
