Adegboruwa, SAN
Late Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, served Nigeria faithfully and will be missed, frontline lawyer and human rights activist Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa said on Saturday.
Expressing “great shock” over the death, on Friday evening, of Abba Kyari, Adegboruwa said in a condolence message: “I hereby extend my heartfelt condolences to the government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, especially the President, on the loss of a committed, loyal and dutiful technocrat.
“Recalling that it was stated that he got infected with the COVID 19 virus in the course of an official trip abroad in connection with seeking a lasting solution to the problem of electricity supply in Nigeria, Mr Abba Kyari will be greatly missed by a nation that he served so faithfully.
“I pray that God will grant us all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
