Dr Tee Mac Omatshola Iseli

Veteran Nigerian musician Dr Omatshola Iseli, popularly known as Tee Mac, has accused frontline telecommunications provider, MTN of conniving with Huawei to bring 5G to Nigeria.
The foremost flutist and former president of Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN) who is also into oil and gas business made this allegation in a chat withNews Expressearlier today.
According to Tee Mac, he has all the facts, together with his business partner (name withheld by us), which has made him come to the conclusion that the new telecommunication technology called 5G is a big threat to human existence.
“It (5G) has been uprooted in Wuhan and MTN, in collaboration with Huawei, is trying to bring it to Nigeria right under the nose of the federal government of Nigeria. This is not acceptable, it is a dangerous adventure, and I know that billions of dollars have changed hands,” he alleged.
In order to forestall what he calls "evil deed against humanity", Tee Mac is calling on Nigerians to abandon MTN.
In a message he forwarded to all his contacts, he said to begin with, he has dumped his MTN line in protest, and advised all Nigerians to do same.
"Dear friends, I stopped buying MTN credits (recharge cards) on my 08033052209 in protest of that South African imperialistic company being the partner to Huawei in Nigeria and trying to impose 5G on us. I will keep the SIM card in one of my iPhones to receive calls for some times, but when the data expires, the WhatsApp will stop. Please use my Airtel WhatsApp only. Most of you have that number already. Let’s all boycott MTN as we did to SHELL 30 years ago when Abacha executed my friend Ken Saro-Wiwa, the Ogoni leader. Shell had to sell 2200 petrol stations to African Petroleum! United we have power! United we can bring down MTN!” he asserted.
Continuing he said, “I have already briefed my lawyers on this vexatious issue. MTN, the federal government and I will meet in court immediately after the lockdown.”
Tee Mac would not be the first Nigerian celebrity to kick against the controversial new telecom technology, in spite of assurances from telecommunications experts that 5G is not injurious to human health.
Others with same line of thoughts with Tee Mac include former president of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Ike and veteran Nollywood actress Eucharia Anunobi.
