Goodwill messages have continued to pour in as the senator representing Owerri senatorial zone, Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi turns 52.

Well-wishers under the aegis of The People’s Movement, a political platform led by the senator showered encomium on him. They extolled his virtues and leadership qualities, describing him as a visionary leader.

Although the senator did not encourage any ceremony on his 52nd birthday due to the exigencies of the time, constituents of Imo East Senatorial zone who have in the last one year, benefited from his quality representation, as well as his massive empowerment programme used the occasion to express gratitude to the senator for making positive impacts on their lives.

“You have proven yourself to be a leader of high ethics and morality. Owerri zone is proud of your service and vocal repertoire at the Nigerian Senate,” said Hon. Solomon Onwuegbuchulam.

Another constituent, Chief Martin Opera, President General, Olu Owerri described Onyewuchi as a special gift to mankind and an epitome of strong character.

“As our representative, you have made us proud by standing with us in good and bad times,

speaking for us when we are being marginalised as a zone; and feeling our heartbeat. You never abandoned group interest for your personal aggrandisement.

“In just one year as our senator, we have every cause to beat our chests for a perfect choice. The day you were born is worth celebrating and we wish you happy birthday and many happy returns,” Opara said.

In another goodwill message, while thanking the senator for his good works on behalf of the people of Imo East, Chiaka Alozie, an aide to the senator declared that “The last one year has been eventful and your support has been crucial.”

No fewer than 700 constituents of Owerri senatorial zone have benefited directly from the empowerment programme of Sen. Onyewuchi in the last one year.

In a thank you message to his people, the senator said he was humbled by the showers of love and solidarity on his birthday.

He prayed God to bless and shield his people this period and always, assuring that “reasons for thanks giving will never cease in our homes by His grace.”
