One of the most fashionable Nigerian actresses, Mercy Aigbe, has thrown a challenge to her female colleagues in the make-believe industry.

The 42 years old Edo State-born Theater Arts graduate from the University of Lagos is asking all actresses in the country to show their natural beauty to the world, by posting their photos on the social media the exact way they look now that they’re staying at home.

Hear the mother of two whose four years old marriage to a Nigerian hotelier, Lanre Gentry, broke up in 2017 on grounds of domestic violence:

“I guess this stay at home is needed. Should we start the Natural Beauty Challenge? If you are bold enough, let’s see your natural beauty. Take a picture and tag me, I will repost. Make sure to hashtag #teamnaturalmercy.”

For goodness sake, who does this Mercy of a woman want to disgrace? How does she expect her targets to show their faces to the world just like that, without layers of pancake?

I just hope super beauties such as Tonto Dikeh, Anita Joseph, Toyin Abraham, Juliet Ibrahim, Regina Daniels and other painting angels are not on Mercy Aigbe’s list.
