Dokubo, other ex-militants work for Jonathan, says Kaduna lawmaker; calls for their arrest

Member, Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon. Muhammad Ali, has alleged that Alhaji Mujaheed Asari-Dokubo and other Niger Delta ex-militants are working for President Goodluck Jonathan.

Hon. Ali made the allegation in an interview with newsmen during a political mobilisation of 3,290 youths and women for the All Progressives Congress (APC) at his constituency office in Kaduna.

While reacting to threats of war by Dokubo and other ex-militant leaders should Jonathan lose the forthcoming election, Hon. Ali said: “Asari-Dokubo and other Niger Delta ex-militants are not only from President Goodluck Jonathan’s area but are also working for him.

“The ex-militants are jokers of the century. DSS should go a little further, not just declaring them wanted, DSS should go after him and get him and his followers arrested. We want to see action and not mere declaration.”

On the postponed general elections, Ali said those who called for the shift of February 14 elections are Judas who do not mean well for the country.

“We are campaigning for APC and for peaceful conduct of the elections, we want people to conduct themselves peacefully before, during and after the elections,” he said
