Tonto Dikeh advises married women how to handle ‘bad’ marriage

n Sunday, March 22.which was celebrated internationally as Mother’s Day, controversial Nollywood diva Tonto Charity Dikeh had some words of advice for married women.

The 35 years old Rivers State-born mother who has continued to make her marriage to her estranged husband Olakunle Churchill a subject of public ridicule, decided to offer tutorials to Nigerian women on how they should handle their marriage, the ones she tagged “bad marriage”.

Posting on her Instagram page, Tonto who also refers to herself as Tontolet, Mama King and King Tonto wrote:

“To every mom who is stuck in a bad marriage, just because it’s expected of her, I’m here to tell you that motherhood is not a symbol of suffering. Stop self sabotaging. Stop minimising your peace. Find the courage to leave any marriage that doesn’t serve your interests too. That time is over when we had to take anything just to be called mothers. We have broken that generational curse, and we are putting ourselves first.”
