Veteran actor Kanayo O Kanayo

Moved by the current situation in the country in terms of insurgency, kidnapping, ritual killings, corruption in high places and other crimes, veteran actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has spoken to encourage fellow Nigerians not to display, but to see the unfortunate situation as a phase that will pass away.

Chief Omego of the legendary box office hit, Living in Bondage, the flick which in 1992 paved the way for the advent of what is now referred to as Nollywood, said:

“Don’t worry, be happy. Whatever you are going through, God is still on the throne.”

Continuing, the 58 years old Mbaise, Imo State-born actor who plays the lead character of Professor Johnbull in the popular Gobalcom TV sitcom with same name said:

“From the way things are going in the country, just say to yourself, ‘This too shall come to pass.’ It’s my philosophy of life. A passing face.#Yagazie.”
