Ten newly promoted senior police officers have been decorated by Inspector-General of Police, IGP Suleiman Abba. The event took place yesterday at the Force Headquarters, Abuja. It was witnessed by family members of the promotees as well as representatives of the Police Service Commission (PSC) and development partners.

The decorated officers are DIG Adeola Adeleke Adeniji; AIG Adenrele Tasheed Shinaba; AIG Ikemefuna R. Okoye; AIG Abuwa Adenike; CP Peter Babatunde Ogunyanwo; CP Sam A. Okaula; CP Dibal Paul Yakadi; CP Haruna Huzi Mshelia; CP Usman Ali Abdullahi; and CP Mohammad A. Mustafa.

Decorating the officers, the IGP charged them to live up to expectations and to inject their wealth of experience in assuring violence-free general elections next month.
