Delectable Nigerian movie star Mercy Aigbe came under fire from her fans some days back.

The 42-year-old actress and director who is best known for her Yoruba indigenous movies had gone on the social media with a video where she advised young girls to stay off married men.

In the said video clip, the Theater Arts graduate from the University of Lagos, mother of two boys and separated wife of Nigerian hotelier Lanre Gentry, had boasted that she made all her money from her sweat without dating any married man or what is popularly referred to as sugar daddy.

But her fans descended on her at that point with hot comments flowing in from left, right and centre.

One of the vexatious comments read: “What are you saying madam? It’s like you think most of us don’t know you. Abi you want make I talk? Be very careful, somebody knows somebody, to know certain thing about some (sic) certain persons.”

And the daughter of Pa Aigbe of Edo State has gone mute since that comment appeared!

You see... That’s a clear case of “Iyanga dey sleep, trouble go wake am”.
