Come February 15, 2020, the stars and superstars of Nigeria’s movie industry, fondly referred to as Nollywood, will take the center stage in Lagos in what is tagged, “Legends of Nollywood Awards”.

Frontline actor and producer Paul Obazele said in an exclusive chat with Maggie’s Blog:

“The beauty of a nation can only be seen by the pictures portrayed by thepeople to the world. We are bringing under one roof those big names in the movie industry. We want to appreciate those players of Nollywood who have paid their dues. It is going to be a celebration of Africa’s best. We aim at using the event to portray the beauty of all ages.”

The event kicks off by 3pm with a Red Carpet at the National Theater, Iganmu Lagos.

Legends of Nollywood Awards, according to Obazele, is supported by Ecobank, Nigeria Film and Video Censor Board (NFVCB), Intercontinental Distillers, Viju Milk, and other corporate organisations.
