Foremost Nigerian Jazz music exponent, Bukola Elemide, popularly known as Asa, has chosen to swell the ranks of the fast growing army of Naira Marley.

The France based 37 years old singer, instrumentalist and recording artist who is currently in the country was interviewed on Thursday on Cool FM in Lagos and she declared without mincing words that she is a Marlian.

In response to a question from the radio crew, the “Mr. Jailer” crooner said: “I think I’m a Marlian. I love him, I think he is awesome”.

Recall that Maggie’s Blog recently reported that veteran actor Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD) declared that he and his children are also Marlians.

Marlians is a term used to describe fans of controversial singer Afeez Fashola whose stage name is Naira Marley.

His popularity has continued to grow in bounds since he had a brush in 2019 with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as result of his public commentaries which insinuate his support for Yahoo Boys.
