At the beginning of every year, people around the world come up with one resolution or the other.Nigerian celebrities are of course not left behind.

Although she has not made any public pronouncement, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde’s body language points steadily at her resolution for the year 2020.

The 41 years old Ondo State-born actress, singer and former model by her action and or inaction, has resolved to slow down on her activities on the social media this year.

The mother of four and Estate Management graduate from the Yaba College of Technology who recently bagged an honourary doctorate degree from Igbinedion University before the advent of the year had been very active on the social media.

She was always making posts to inform and entertain her 4.5 million followers on her Instagram page on a daily basis. Sometimes, in a day she would make about five different posts including videos and photographs.

But all that seems to have changed as she has made only two posts on her Instagram page this year.

The first post was on January 1 when she wished her family a happy new year. “Happy New Year fam! It’s 2020,” was all that she said.

On the same day (January 1), she made a graphic presentation of 2020 again on her Instagram page and said, “Happy New Year”.

Nine days into the year, nothing again has been forthcoming from the multiple award-winning movie star who got wedded to her pilot husband, Matthew Ekeinde, in the sky.
