The 28 years old mechanical engineering graduate from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana, who sings what he calls “International R&B” disclosed that, while his colleagues in the entertainment industry are falling head over heels to outdo one another in acquiring state-of-the-art automobiles, he does not see car ownership as a necessity.

He stated this when he was asked of the make of his car during a recent television interview.

The Banku music originator said: “No, I still don’t have a car. This is because all year round I’m not stationed in one place. Today, I’m in this country playing shows, tomorrow, I’m somewhere else. It doesn’t make any sense for me to buy a car and just pack it, and so no, I still don’t have a car.”

Well, while I would not doubt the easy reason offered by Mr Eazi, I just hope it’s not a case of a poor man claiming that sleeping in a house with zinc roof causes heat so he prefers the thatch house.
