Bishop David Oyedepo, President of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, yesterday reacted angrily to the unabated terrorist acts of Boko Haram and prophesied the imminent end of the murderous sect.
Speaking at his ministry’s Shiloh programme in Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State, Oyedepo thundered: “Today, Friday, 12th December, 2014, marks the end of the harassment of Boko Haram in Nigeria.” He declared that Nigeria has been delivered from the terrorists.
“I am sponsored by no one; I am a servant of the Most High and except I am not sent would you ever hear again of these terrorists’ mindless killings in the country. Their end has finally come,” the fiery preacher further said.
The 60-year-old Oyedepo, who was speaking during the Hour of Visitation morning programme on the last day of the 16th Shiloh on ‘Heralding the era of heaven on earth’, took time to rain curses on all the saboteurs (including in the military) who have compromised the war against terror.
The visibly angry cleric while leading the congregation in a prayer session also cursed the sponsors, masterminds, informants and executioners of Boko Haram.
The 2014 Shiloh, which was decentralised to accommodate millions of participants around the world, was followed across Nigerian cities including Maiduguri and Damaturu, also had over 2,000 delegates drawn from 52 nations.
