Some Team Nigeria medalists in Rabat, Morocco
After overcoming a slow start, Team Nigeria’s campaign at the African Games in Rabat, Morocco, is ending on a glorious note, with the contingent mining a total of 121 medals (46 gold, 33 silver and 47 bronze) to finish second behind Egypt.
Egypt sit pretty on the table with 264 medals comprising 99 gold medals, 96 silver and 69 bronze.
South Africa are third on the table with a total of 87 medals.
The curtain is to be drawn on the Games today (Saturday, August 31, 2019) with volleyball and tennis finals before the closing ceremony. (DailySportsNg)
