New salary for police soon

Officers and rank and file of the Nigeria Police would soon enjoy salary review to boost their work rate and also improve their welfare.

Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, Kayode Aderanti, revealed this on Thursday during an official visit to ‘Area K’ of his command.

He said the Inspector General of Police, IGP Suleiman Abba, has given the assurance with a view to also motivating them.

The CP also encouraged the police to see the Police Microfinance Bank as their facility to become house owners rather than chasing accommodation in the overpopulated baracks.
