Senegal overcome Tunisia to qualify for AFCON final

For Senegals Lions, a time to celebrate

After a grueling 120 minutes of fireworks, it was the Lions of Senegal who on Sunday night emerged as the first team to qualify for the final of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) holding in Egypt.

A Dylan Bronn own goal during the 123rd minute of play was all that the West Africans needed to coast to victory.

The match was forced into extra time after Tunisia’s Sassi and Senegal’s Saivet had their penalty kicks saved during regulation time.
