Two traffic offenders arrested by the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) officers, Thursday, forfeited their cars to the Lagos State Government.
According to The Guardian, the two traffic offenders were arrested by officers of Rapid Response Squad on patrol along Opebi Road, on Wednesday.
They were later transferred to Lagos State Task Force and were charged to court, where the order of forfeiture was given on Thursday.
Agency report further stated that earlier, the drivers were apprehended and taken to RRS Headquarters at Alausa, Ikeja.
Subsequently, they were transferred to Lagos State Mobile Court, and the court ruled that they shall both forfeit their vehicles (Lexus 4WD and Sienna) to Lagos State Government.
