Popular cleric, Apostle (Dr.) Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has predicted that the Boko Haram insurgency in the country will end by the end of September 2014.

Apostle Chibuzor, General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), made the prediction while presiding over Sunday worship at the OPM Global Headquarters in Port Harcourt, capital of Rivers State.

Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a frontline politician and media consultant based in Port Harcourt, who was in the congregation when the announcement was made, told News Express: “Apostle (Dr.) Chibuzor prayed and assured his church members during service on the last Sunday of August that Boko Haram will end by the end of September.”

Chief Eze described Apostle Chibuzor as “a great man of God,” adding: “He is credited with a lot miracles.”

Boko Haram, which seeks to impose Islamic rule in Nigeria, has killed thousands of innocent citizens in a reign of terror in the country’s North since 2009. The group has taken over and occupied parts of the North-East but has suffered setbacks against the Nigerian military in the past one week.
