Nigeria Youth Ambassador and Media Aide to the Delta State Governor, Mr. Ossai Ovie Success, has berated some Nigerian youths who denigrate education, describing their slang ‘Las Las School Na Scam’, as “devilish” noting that education makes man responsible.

Ossai stated this recently at Asaba, the Delta State capital, while addressing thousands of youths, stressing that only an irresponsible youths will describe education as scam.

He told them: “It saddens my heart whenever I hear my fellow youths embracing the word ‘Las Las School Na Scam’.

“I grew up knowing that education is a key to a brighter future and I have never regretted going to school.

“The fact is, apart from the grace of God, education contributed meaningful to where I am today likewise the successful people out there.

“Education is never a scam and can never be a scam. Education makes you a civilized citizen and helps you to manage the resources and people around you.

“Those who say education is a scam are people who fail to do well in school and are currently involved in illegal means of making money by defrauding people which is against humanity.

“No matter how wealthy you are, without education there is a vacuum in your life.

The Youth Ambassador called on Nigeria youths to embrace education.
