The Bayelsa State Government has introduced a special security hotline for Bayelsans to report cases of violence, security breaches and all other forms malpractices before, during and after the elections of Saturday, February 23, 2019.
“The number to dial is 08001230123. Calls to this number are free of charge,” the State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, said Wednesday in a Government Special Announcement.
“All Bayelsans, who mean well for the state and want elections to be free, fair, peaceful and credible, devoid of all forms of malpractice or violence are enjoined to phone in, and report all cases of electoral violation to the number 08001230123 free of charge, for prompt action,” the commissioner said.
“The number to call once again for any election related issue before, during and after this Saturday’s polls is 08001230123 and as you call and report, steps will be taken immediately to respond to your reports,” he added.
