The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, February 6, 2019:
NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and Hazy conditions are to prevail over the entire region during the forecast hour. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 34 – 36℃ and 15 – 18℃ respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are most likely over the region with chances of thundery activities over Mambilla axis, during the morning hours. As the day progresses, partly conditions are anticipated with localised thundery activities over the high ground of the central state places such as Abuja, Makurdi, Nasarawa and Lokoja axis. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 35 – 37℃ and 16 – 27℃ respectively.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy conditions are expected over the region with chances of morning thunderstorms over Lagos and Calabar, axis, later in the day localised thunderstorms are likely over Owerri Ikom, Warri Umuahia and coastal axis during afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 33-37℃ and 24– 26℃ respectively.
