Hazy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Sunday, January 27, 2019:
NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are anticipated over the region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 34 – 37℃ and 14 – 22℃ respectively.
CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to sunny condition is likely over this region throughout the forecast period with slim chances of localised thunderstorms over the Mambila Plateau during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 36 – 38℃ and 19 – 24℃.
SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are likely over the region with chances of localised thunderstorms over Lagos and Ijebu-Ode during the morning hours. Later in the day, localised thunderstorms are likely over Ado, Oshogbo, Abakaliki, Enugu, Owerri, Ikom, Port-Harcourt, Uyo, Eket and Calabar axis. Day and Night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 34 – 37℃ and 22 – 26℃ respectively.
