Breaking: Chaos in Lagos: Angry soldiers burn BRT buses; fares shoot up, commuters stranded

Thousands of Lagosians have become stranded following the sudden shortage of mass transit BRT buses after irate soldiers went on a rampage along the popular Ikorodu Road, vandalising and burning BRT buses.

The soldiers decided to take the law into their hands after a BRT bus allegedly crushed one of their own at Palmgrove Bus Stop.

As a result, commuters have become stranded in various parts of the former federal capital, with minibuses hiking fares beyond the reach of many.
