A bomb blast has occurred shaken parts of Kaduna, North-West Nigeria.
The explosion took place around 8:15 p.m. at a major U-Turn near Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi’s residence along Nnamdi Azikwe Way.
The State Commissioner of Police, Umar Shehu, confirmed the incident to newsmen.
He said no death was recorded.
According to the Police Commissioner, “There was an explosion, but only two people sustained injury and are receiving treatment at the hospital.”
No group has claimed responsibility but attention is turned towards Boko Haram insurgents.
It has been a day of bomb blasts, with one recorded in Maiduguri in the North-East and another in Ile-Ife in the South-West
