There is a bomb scare at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Camp in Lagos, located at Iyana Ipaja.

“About three police patrol teams have been dispatched there,” a source told News Express.

This is coming two days after at least four persons were confirmed dead in a twin explosion near the Folawiyo Energy Depot along Creek Road in the Apapa area of Lagos.

While the police blamed it on a tanker that exploded, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said the explosion was caused by gas cylinders. Petroleum tanker drivers operating in the area, however, say they suspect the explosion to have been caused by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).
