Breaking News: PTD National Treasurer kidnapped in Kaduna

National Treasurer of the Petroleum Tanker Drivers Association (PTD), Abdullahi Haruna (a.k.a 63), has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Kaduna, North-West Nigeria.

Family sources say the suspected kidnappers stormed the residence of Haruna near Bibal Hospital in Tudun Wada around 10pm on Friday and whisked him away at gun point.

“They stormed the house and whisked him away at gun point in a waiting vehicle,” some sympathisers told News Express this morning.

Kaduna State Commissioner of Police, Umar Shehu Ambursa, who confirmed the incident, said there was no demand for ransom yet from the kidnappers.

“The kidnappers are yet to make contacts for any ransom demand. However, we have already commenced investigation,” he said.

News Express learnt that no any member of Haruna’s family is hut during the operation.
