Cloudy weather
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted sunny and hazy weather conditions over most parts of the central states of the country on Friday.
NiMet’s Weather Outlook by its Central Forecast Office in Abuja on Thursday also predicted day and night temperatures in the range of 27℃–36℃and12℃–21℃.
The agency also predicted that the southern states would experience partly cloudy over the inland cities throughout the day, with day and night temperatures in the range of 32℃–36℃and 20℃–25℃.
It noted that there would be cloudy conditions over coastal cities in the morning with localised thunderstorms over Calabar, Port Harcourt and its environs in the afternoon and evening period.
According to NiMet, northern states will experience sunny and hazy condition throughout the forecast period, with day and night temperatures in the range of 33℃–36℃and 12℃–20℃.
It added that “sunny and hazy conditions are most likely over the North down to the central cities.
“Isolated thunderstorms are not unlikely over some parts of coastal cities within the next 24 hours.” (NAN)
