The Bayelsa State Government under the watch of Hon. Seriake Dickson has been accused of vandalising property at the State Secretariat of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) located in the capital city of Yenagoa.
A message from the Bayelsa State Chapter of APC intercepted by News Express alleged that barely 24 hours the APC State Secretariat was opened, “the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)-led government in the state has sent plain-cloth police men to remove the bill board and the flags of the party and threaten to bomb the State Secretariat if the APC leadership fails to stop operating in the state.”
News Express contacted Mr. Ono Akpe, one of Governor Dickson’s media aides, for a reaction but he said only his boss, Mr. Daniel Iworiso-Markson, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, or the State Commissioner for Information could speak on the issue.
News Express explained that it did not have the contacts of any of the two officials. Rather than provide the contacts, Mr. Akpe this morning asked News Express to send an sms for him to forward to the Chief Press Secretary. News Express did as advised but has yet to get a reply.
