A top clergyman has been kidnapped near Obasanjo Farms in Ota, Ogun State.
“The incident just happened. He was kidnapped in a Prado Jeep heading towards Lagos,” a source close to the police told News Express.
The source disclosed that the victim is a Primate, a high rank usually associated with the Anglican Church.
News Express learnt that the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2, comprising Lagos and Ogun state commands of the Nigeria Police, AIG Mamman Ibrahim Tsafe, has already been informed and has put his men at alert.
“The AIG has ordered that any Prado Jeep seeing on the road should be searched, including the booth,” the source said.
