The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today,Wednesday, March 8, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: This region is expected to be under sunny and hazy conditions in the next 24 hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 37 – 41°C and 16 – 22°C respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are anticipated over this region within the next 24hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 36 – 42°C and 22 – 28°C respectively.

SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy morning is expected over the inland and cloudy conditions over the coastal cities with prospects of localised thunderstorms over some places such as Lagos, Ibadan, Port Harcourt, Yenagoa, Eket, Calabar, Owerri, Obudu, Ikom, Awka, Akure, Oshogbo, Ibadan and Ijebu Ode during the afternoon/evening hours.

Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 29 – 39°C and 21 – 26°C respectively.
