The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today,Saturday, March 4, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are anticipated over the northern cities during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 35 – 41°C and 18 – 23°C respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are expected over this region in the morning hours while partly cloudy conditions are expected over most parts of the central cities in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 40°C and 16 – 27°C respectively.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with prospects of localised thundery showers over Lagos, Port Harcourt and Yenagoa during the morning hours. Later in the day, there are prospects of localised thundery showers over the inland and the coastal cities during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night time temperatures are expected to be in the ranges of 35 – 40°C and 24 – 27°C respectively.
